WE WILL ROCK YOU!

A high-energy Queen cover band based in New York, this group of seasoned, multi-talented singers and musicians is the closest experience to a real Queen show since the 1991 passing of Freddie Mercury. Thrilling the audience with electrifying guitar solos, addictive riffs, and legendary lyrics, the music of Queen has mesmerized fans for decades. The band members are stars in their own right:

Stefan Thomas (Freddie Mercury) — Xtreme Queen’s front man, Stefan has been a professional tribute artist for over 10 years. He has been featured on “Good Morning America,” VH1, MTV, and several other prime time networks. His showmanship authentically replicates all the signature moves, charisma, voice and energy of Freddie Mercury himself, and he bears an uncanny resemblance to Freddie.

Sal Locascio (Brian May) — A sought-after lead guitarist, Sal hails from Billy Joel’s hometown of Hicksville, New York. He has played with several of Long Island’s top cover bands, including Five Stone and Soul Doctor. In addition to his guitar skills, Sal is a music composer, arranger, and producer with over 15 years of experience in the music business.

James Stevens (Jon Deacon) — James has studied with bass players for headline names such as Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, and Herbie Hancock.

Dave Wilson (Roger Taylor) — Dave has opened as drummer for well-known acts such as White Lion, Skidrow, Obsession, and EZO.

There is always a danger in creating any list of favorites, because inevitably something gets omitted that arguably belongs on the list. With pleasure and advance apologies, here is a list of memorable Queen hits:

“Bohemian Rhapsody”
“Bicycle Race/Fat Bottomed Girls”
“Somebody to Love”
“Under Pressure”
“Don’t Stop Me Now”
“Another One Bites the Dust”
“You’re My Best Friend”
“Killer Queen”
“We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions”
“I Want It All”
“Flash (from the movie Flash Gordon)“
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Radio Ga Ga
Stone Cold Crazy
Save Me
Now I’m Here

We invite the crowd to join in with many of Queen’s hits as Freddie leads everyone to the classic "We are the Champions" finale and their ALL NEW "Bohemian Rhapsody" reprise encore, in which the fans participate in the iconic harmonies!

THE LEGEND LIVES ON

With the popularity of the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, there has been a resurgence of Queen mania, introducing this amazing music to a whole new generation!

The British rock band Queen was formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock. Queen has been a global presence in popular culture for more than half a century. Estimates of their record sales range from 250 million to 300 million, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.

Lead singer and pianist Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara in what is now Zanzibar, on September 5, 1946. His family fled their home during political unrest and relocated to England. He was a British singer and songwriter who achieved worldwide fame as the lead vocalist and pianist of the rock band Queen. Regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Mercury defied the conventions of a rock front man with his theatrical style, influencing the artistic direction of Queen. He died of complications of AIDS on November 24, 1991. This will be a special performance commemorating what would have been his 78th birthday.

The entire concert will be recorded in multiple camera 4K (ultra-high definition), multiple track digital audio, by a professional crew for distribution nationwide to PBS affiliate television stations and networks.
